The Annual Patria Family Reunion

hosted by The Gathering Place

with Special Guests:

JOHN E. THOMAS

John and Dawna Thomas were radically saved out of the drug culture in 1996. Personally mentored by John Paul Jackson, they’ve been on staff with or have worked alongside Streams Ministries since 2004. John pastored The Bridge Metrowest (planted by John Paul) for five years before he and Dawna stepped out into full-time itinerant ministry. After John Paul passed away, John began to work more closely with the Streams leadership team and in 2016 was asked to become the president of Streams Ministries.

With his background as a pastor and a minister in various settings around the world, John has a unique perspective on prophetic ministry and the global Body of Christ. He desires to see the Church rise up in her authority and in the full power of the Holy Spirit, and his passion for God’s heart undergirds everything he does. He wants to help the Bride of Christ respond with fervent devotion to the One who called her.

John co-authored The Art of Praying the Scriptures: A Fresh Look at Lectio Divina with John Paul Jackson and has also written courses on prophetic ministry, dream interpretation, and the Kingdom of God. As president of Streams Ministries, he ministers internationally to help restore the awe of God to a world that has lost its wonder. He and Dawna live outside of Dallas, Texas.

DIANE JACKSON

Diane Jackson is the wife of John Paul Jackson, founder of Streams Ministries International.  Diane was a huge support to John Paul in his ministry, but she is an amazing leader in her own right.  You will enjoy hearing her wisdom gleaned as she has walked through years of ministry during both great moves of God and difficult seasons of wilderness.  Diane is lives outside of Dallas, Texas.

About our Host:

At The Gathering Place, we strive to remain mission centered on every idea, program, and budget request. If what we plan doesn’t help us meet our purpose, then we don’t do it. Our purpose at The Gathering Place Church is summarized in a single statement:

“To lead people into a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.”

Our goal is to leverage every resource that we have to help people connect with God, and then grow in their faith.

As Founding Pastor of The Gathering Place Church, Matt Scott is most commonly known for his energetic teaching style and passion for developing “fully devoted” followers of Christ. TGP Church was founded with the vision and intent to raise up a church that God would use to reach people far from Himself, and then help them grow in their faith.

Since it began in 2011, The Gathering Place Church has grown to average more than 1500 people attending each weekend. TGP is known for its life-giving culture and focus on leading people into a personal and growing relationship with God.

Pastor Matt has a deep desire to see every person reach their spiritual growth potential. This is why TGP Church offers many avenues for its congregation to identify their gifts and purpose  in  hopes  of  using  them  to  serve  the  Lord.  With  approximately  400 ministry
